ADOPTION INFORMATION

We are looking for loving "forever" homes for our kittens and adults which is why we prefer to place our kitties in pet homes.  However, we will occasionally consider placing a kitty in a breeder/show home if we determine the kitty will be well cared for.

 

 Kittens are ready for their new homes at approximately 10 - 12 weeks of age.   If a kitten is placed , you will be required to sign and honor a neuter/spay contract.  CFA registration papers will be held until you provide us with a neuter/spay certification signed by a licensed veterinarian.

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a kitten or cat for you until it is ready for adoption.  Kittens or adults must be paid for in full 1 weeks prior to shipping. A kitten can be "Reserved" for only 7 days awaiting a deposit, then it will again be listed as "Available".

Our kittens/adults are examined by our veterinarian before placement and are guaranteed to be healthy at time of sale.  You must have the kitten/adult examined by a veterinarian within 72 hours from time of receipt for the health guarantee to be valid.  A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a kitten or adult for you.  To assist us in making the best match possible, please complete the "ADOPTION FORM".

1.  The buyer accepts the responsibility for caring for the cat/kitten and providing properly for its welfare. The buyer agrees that this cat will always receive prompt, top-notch medical care. The buyer agrees to follow the breeder's instructions on care, housing, diet, treatment and health care.

 

2.  Under no circumstances will this cat/kitten be sold, leased, or given to any pet shop, research laboratory, animal control shelter, humane society or similar facility.

 

3.  If this cat/kitten is found to be neglected or in ill health for an unreasonable length of time, purchaser will surrender said cat/kitten to seller unconditionally.

 

4.  Adequate indoor sanitary facilities will be provided and, this cat/kitten will not be allowed to roam outdoors.

 

5.  This cat/kitten is purchased for: Show_______ Breeding______ Pet_______

 

6.  If purchased as a pet, purchaser agrees to neuter or spay this cat/kitten between the ages of 4 months and 10 months of birth or within thirty days if this is an adult cat, and agrees and guarantees this cat/kitten will not be used for breeding.

 

7.  The seller guarantees that the buyer is receiving a healthy, sound cat free of disease. The cat/kitten has been vaccinated with the first set of Shots . If this cat/kitten is being shipped outside of the state of Colorado, seller will have this cat/kitten vet checked and obtain a health certificate within 10 days of shipping at the expense of the buyer.

 

8.  If this cat/kitten is found to be unhealthy or unsound, the buyer has three (3) days to obtain a veterinarian inspection and deliver proof in writing from the veterinarian as to the illness or condition. The buyer will then have the option to (1.) return cat/kitten to seller for refund or (2.) return cat/kitten to seller for replacement cat/kitten if available. This paragraph is not applicable when buyer is negligent in the care of cat/kitten or in the case of accidents or poisoning.

 

9.  If this cat/kitten is being shipped to buyer, the cat/kitten must be paid for in full as well as all shipping expenses including: air fee, health certificate, and carrier prior to shipment. The cat will be shipped as soon as possible after all age and shipping temperature requirements can be met and all fees paid.

 

10.  CFA registration papers and vaccination record will be provided when cat/kitten is paid for in full.

 

11.  Deposits are nonrefundable except when the health of the cat/kitten prevents completion of the sale, in which case, the deposit will be refunded in full.
